Llwydcoed War Memorial

Llwydcoed War Memorial was unveiled on 28th September 1921. It is located in Llwydcoed Park, a small public park and recreation ground.

The memorial consists of an obelisk on a square plinth made of Portland stone, surrounded by railings.

The inscription reads : “ROLL OF HONOUR/ OUR HEROES OF THE GREAT WAR/ 1914-1918/ SAY NOT THE BRAVE CAN DIE/ IN SACRED SLEEP THEY LIE”. OS MAP REF: SS 990 040
